The sports play an important role in the growth and development of every individual such as physical fitness, team work, accountability, self-confidence, self-discipline etc. Sports in school help to prepare the students to face the challenges of life. It enhance the physical and mental abilities of students and help them to achieve the goals of their life.

Darul Huda English Medium School Conducted the Annual Sports Meet on November 3rd & 4th. All the students were divided into different categories such as under 10, under 14, and under 17. For the smooth functioning of the sports meet, all the students were categorized into three groups (Ruby, Diamond and Emerald) and a programme committee was formed under the patronage of the principal and HODs. Mr. Ramachandran, the Physical Education Teacher was selected as the convener of the sports meet. The following events were conducted with the spirit of sportsmanship.

• Foot ball
• Volley ball
• Discus throw
• Arm wrestling

The Annual sports meet was conducted in two days. The first day was held on 3rd November at Darul Huda campus. On the second day the meet was shifted to NAM College Kallikkandy, due to the building work in the side of play ground.

The Annual Sports was inaugurated by the Principal, Moosa Panoli. The Manager Muneer saquafi , Vice principal Mrs. Thafseera and the HOD Saseendran also felicitated the function.

The Second day of sports meet was conducted at NAM College Kallikkandy. NAM College Principal Dr.KK Muhammed Kutty inaugurated the function. Prof. N.Kunhammed sir presided over the function. Dr. MK Madusoodhanan, the HOD of physical education of NAM College gave a talk on the importance of sports.

We arranged different types of sports events in two days. After all the events, team Emerald won the first prize. Principal Mr. Moosa Panoli awarded the trophy, and Manger Muneer squafi distributed the certificates for the winners.
